Chhichhore Movie Box Office Collection, Plot, Cast, Reviews and Ratings

Chhichhore literally translates to flippant meaning not showing a serious or respectful attitude, and that is exactly what the movie is all about. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film stars Sushant Singh Rajput as Annirudh, Shraddha Kapoor as Maya, Varun Sharma as Sexa, Prateik Babbar as Raggie, Tahir Raj Bhasin as Derek, Naveen Polishetty as Acid, Tushar Pandey as Mummy, Saharsh Shukla as Bevda, Rohit Chauhan as Chriss Cross and Nalneesh Neel as Raju. Chhichore is a movie focused on seven friends and their life in college from 1992 to the present where they come together in an unexpected reunion after years of being apart. A portion of the film is shot at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai (IIT-M).

The movie is set during the year 1992, where Annirudh (Sushant Singh Rajput), gets an admission to a reputed Engineering College. There, he meets his friends and they bond to form a group of ‘losers’. Chhichhore portrays all the fun, struggles, conversations and love that take place during college time. Friends depart and move to different directions in their lives but are unfortunately reunited when Annirudh’s son gets sick and all his college friends help him through this tough time. This film conveys the feeling and bond of college friends that might not be the best in giving advice or appreciating your talent but when a friend is in true need, they show up and do everything in their power to heal.

The theme song of the movie marks the reunion of the dancing duo Bosco-Caesar, who are coming back together after three years. The music of the film is composed by Pritam and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Chhichhore is full of catchy songs and heart-touching beats with songs like Fikar Not, Who Din, Control, Kal Hi Ki Baat Hai and Khairiyat.
